VINYASA AND STRENGTH

Quite a few asana practitioners have a lot of flexibility however lack strength and endurance, which often result in injuries. STRENGTH is important for posture and our everyday activities. 

​

This is an intermediate level batch that focuses on building arm, hip/legs and core strength. The practice will include VINYASA, movement and drills to improve flow with coordinated breathing. You can prepare for ASHTANGA vinyasa through the drills, techniques to jump back, jump through, jump front and chaturangas. You will also improve your alignments in Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. We don’t use props you will just need your body and show up on the mat; occasionally we use a wall for some techniques. 

 

NOTE: This batch won’t suit complete beginners. You can try them if you have a background in sports, dance, martial arts or any other intense physical activity.
